What is podcasting?
Podcasting makes an audio file, typically an MP3 file, available online for downloading via an automatic "feed."
It's a great idea to subscribe to a podcast. This way you will automatically receive a new podcast "episode" each time a new sermon is available.
After you've subscribed, you won't even have to return to this site. iTunes will do all the work for you. iTunes will automatically download new Cornerstone sermons to your computer as soon as they're posted online!
You can then hear the sermons in this podcast whenever you want from your computer or a portable media player.
What do I need to hear podcasts?You'll need podcast subscription software. Your options include the latest version of Apple's iTunes (which is free and the easily most popular), or other services such as iPodder, to manage your podcast subscriptions.
The good news is that you don't have to have an iPod to listen to a podcast. You can subscribe to a podcast and listen to it using your personal computer.
If you want to make your podcasts portable, you will need to transfer them from your computer to a portable mp3 player or burn them to a CD.
